Three wishes
Three Wishes

The alarm clock beeps into my ears. Another day of my boring life I thought as I pulled the sheets off my body.
My twin brother barges into my room, "Angelo, get up! We have 10 minutes!" Without a response, I pushed passed him and into the restroom. I guess Landon must have messed with my alarm clock, again. I sighed while washing my face. I combed my brown hair upwards to complete my look. I put on regular skinny jeans, a nice fitted Hollister shirt, and some Superstar Adidas. My backpack waits for me on the floor. I pick it up without hesitation. I hustle down the stairs, and head outside into my car. I open the door, sit down in to the cold seat, and press the button to start the engine. The engine wouldn't trigger. I turned to see if my brother had left, but I saw no sight of him or his car. My mom's car was also out of sight. I opened the door to my car and landed my feet onto the hard pavement. I stepped into the house. I ran into my room closing the door shut. I closed my eyes and laid myself on my bed. My vision turned into a white cloud. I couldn't see anything, but I heard a faint voice calling my name. I turned to find the direction of the voice. I couldn't secure a specific direction to where it was coming from.
"Angelo, you have three wishes," the voice said.
"What?" I questioned.
No answer. I tried moving parts of my body to wake myself up, but they wouldn't. It felt real.
"I wish I had no twin brother, I wish my dad was still alive, and I wish I was rich," I pleaded.
"Wish granted," the voice fainted away.
Suddenly, I woke up in my bed. I lifted my body of out of the bed and walked to the window. It was sunrise. I looked at my alarm clock. It started to beep at the set time which was 7:30am. I walked out of my room. There stood plenty of expensive artifacts on the shelves. I stepped down the stairs and my dad was sitting on the kitchen table.
"You're awake early," he smiled.
I ran over to him and hugged him, "Yeah."
He looked at me weirdly, "That's good. Anyway, did you get your project done?"
"Uh...yeah," I said.
He looked at me again and nodded his head. I grabbed my keys and headed out the front door. My car wasn't my car. It was an Infiniti Q70L. I looked at him with confusion then I remembered my three wishes. I smiled to myself not regretting any of the wishes. I hopped into the car and drove to school. When I pulled into the parking lot, many kids gave a look. One of the boys called me privileged rich kid. I ignored him and continued walking. I didn't know what to say. It's hard to ignore that comment. The words stuck in my head for the whole day.
The last bell of the day rang. I'd usually expect my brother waiting for me, but he wasn't there. I frowned and continued walking. I had no one to talk to about my day with anymore and no one I can trust. I sighed while I drove home. As soon as I got home, I ran to my bed and closed my eyes hoping everything will be back to the way it was. My vision was full of the white clouds then suddenly the alarm clock beeps into my ears and my twin brother barges into my room.
